Windows 10 periodically checks for updates so you don’t have to. When an update is available, it’s automatically downloaded and installed.
But if you want to stop Automatic Updates in windows, you can stop it by following 8 steps.
These 8 steps are very simple and easy:
Step 1:
Right click on "This PC" and select "Manage"
A new window named "Computer Management" will be appeared.
Step 2:
In this window, in the left column double-click "Services and Applications"
Step 3:
Select "Services" under the "Services and Applications" tab
Step 4:
In the "Services" menu find "Windows Update"
and double-click on it
Step 5:
A new window with label "Windows Update Properties (Local Computer)" will appear on the screen
Step 6:
Select stop from "Service Status" menu
Step 7
Select "Disabled" from "Startup type" menu
Step 8
Apply and Ok
Update for windows 10 is now disabled.
